Honeymooners is the vision of Joana & André, a power couple who decided to make their life an eternal honeymoon, either in everyday life, or when traveling to breathtaking locations around the world, looking for the most unforgettable and unique experiences for two.
This adventure started when they were both 16 years old, and after 48 countries, 5 continents and more than 100000 Km covered traveling the world dressed as bride and groom (they held the Guinness World Record for the "most traveled wedding dress in the world”), their brand helps fans around the globe create happy moments that last forever. Today, Honeymooners is one of the most popular online projects in the Travel, Photography and Lifestyle market in Portugal.
The main challenge of the brand identity project was to create a brand that could feel adventurous and romantic at the same time. The visual journey started with the design of their monogram, a stylised lowercase h that is built putting together the stem of an uppercase J, for Joana, and the stem of a lowercase a, for André. With a symbol of their own, the identity came together with an expressive stencil serifed font, that evokes their wanderlust state of mind.
The color palette uses a deep red as main accent with a few warm tones for their main communication channels. We also designed a visual grammar based on map coordinates and cardinal points, that are used across their custom designed website and visual assets.
